RESUMPTION OF RESIDENT DOCTORS:


Life has bounced back in Government Hospitals across Edo State Following the full resumption of Resident Doctors after they were recalled by the Federal Government.

Visits to the Hospitals saw Patients who were on admission returning to their sick beds while fresh one queued up for medical attention.
At the emergency ward of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH, Benin, it appeared that the facility has been fortified against Ebola virus.
This nurse is the Chief Nursing Officer, at the Emergency ward, Roselyn Ighalo. She spoke on their preparedness against Ebola  at the hospital.
On their parts the Resident Doctors called for sustained collaboration amongst key stakeholders in Government, Health sector and the media in the war against Ebola Virus.
The National Vice President, Association of Resident Doctors, Harrison Omokhua and President of the association at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Goodluck Imoudu  said above all quality information should be passed to the public regularly to enable them make informed decisions.
The doctors said they were determined to join in the campaign against the dreaded Ebola virus.
Since July when Patrick Sawyer imported Ebola virus into Nigeria, it has not only posed great danger to citizens but also to health workers.
