IKIMI .

All hopes of return of a Former National Leader of the All Progressive Congress , APC, Chief Tom Ikimi, to the Party was permanently dashed on Monday   when the Edo state Born Chief came home into the waiting hands of  a  mammoth crowd of the Peopled Democratic Party PDP.

Chief Tom Ikimi told the News Men who have laid siege at the Benin Airport that his resignation from APC was quickened by open dictatorship where leaders constantly plot against one another.
He said his 12 years experience in the party has taught him a lot which he hopes to leverage on the next line of action to take.

The Former Foreign Affairs minister particularly accused the former Governor of Lagos State Ahmed Bola Tinubu of using APC to pursue personal interest saying he will stop at nothing to achieve his parochial goals.
He wondered on earth why Tinubu would misinform the public that he betrayed Abiola and if he were elected APC chairman he would sell the party to PDP

Ikimi said now that he is at home he feels more comfortable with the invitation of the PDP to rebuild Edo state saying the future of Edo is bigger than what has seen so far.

The former leader of the APC in south- south of Nigeria, Pastor Osagie Ize-iyamu, who earlier defected to PDP welcoming Chief Tom Ikimi, said with his resignation APC is now completely dead in the region.

Others who spoke were Edo State Vice Chairman of PDP, Edo South senatorial District, Mr Lucky Imasuen, former deputy chief of staff to Governor Adams Oshiomhole Mr Steve Idehenre, Edo state director of Poverty Alleviation Agency, Chief Evelyn Omokhodion and Minority leader Edo state House of Assembly, Mathew Okodugha.
