PASCHAL UGBOME

The race to the 2015 election is already heating up as some aspirants for various political offices stormed the headquarters of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to pick up expression of interest and nomination forms.

 Paschal Ugbome who has caught his teeth first as a former member Edo state house of Assembly and also Local Government Chairman, drew no less crowd, as he was accompanied by mammoth supporters while he restated his commitment to serve the Edo North people with all sincerity.

The state PDP Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih  giving out the nomination form to Paschal Ugbome boasted that the party will reclaim the state in 2015 and 2016 elections  and ascribed the huge turn out of supporters to the political strength of Paschal Ugbome and the party. He charged the aspirant to go home and do more work.

 Dan Orbih also said the ruling APC government has performed abysmally in the last few years subjecting the masses to untold hardship.

 MEAN WHILE,

Jubilant Paschal Ugbome said his desire to contest the Edo North Senatorial seat was a divine call to serve the people.

He thanked the PDP for its numerous opportunities given him in the past. He had earlier resigned his position as Director Organization of PDP in the State.

Some of his supporters including his wife Becky, Evelyn Omokhodion described him as a worthy aspirant.

 Paschal Ugbome who is not new to the politics of Edo State has held so many positions in the state including Edo Assembly member, Chairman Etsako East Local government among others.
