POOR STATE OF ROADS IN GRA, BENIN. RESIDENTS LAMENT:

Some residents at the Government Reservation Area-GRA have lamented over the terrible state of their roads.
The Roads include the entire stretch of Adesuwa Road, Aiguobasimwin and Aikhionbare Streets. Others are parts of Boundary, Upper Etete and Ugbor.

Some of the Roads are either wearing deep pot holes or badly flooded.
The  Residents  alleged that the Roads have been totally abandoned or neglected by  concerned authorities even at dry seasons where maintenance are supposed to be carried out on them.
The Residents complained that the poor condition of Roads have   crippled their Economy and social activities
Some of the respondents strongly pleaded with the state Government and the relevant authorities to come to their aid.
One of the Executive Directors, Edo State Rapid Response Agency Elder Samuel Eboigbe who spoke on behalf of the Managing Director assured of prompt response from the state government as the Governor Mr. Adams Aliu Oshiomhole who always matched words with actions will respond to their plight.
Mr. Eboigbe pleaded with the residents to be patient with the government as plans were already on the way to affect repairs on the Roads.
With this assurance one is hopeful that respite is on the way for inhabitants of GRA, Benin City.
